The AED Africa Interest Group, an employee based affinity group seeks to promote Africa's growth and achievement through educational programs as well as cultural celebrations. The group is mandated to be a resource to its fellow AED employee as a first point of contact for Africa related issues. The members offer a unique perspective of their African experience and work to show others what they have encountered. The group also serves to enlighten its fellow employee with regard to the many programs currently being implemented on the continent through AED. We are a community resource and a voice in the diaspora.

This year's theme, Africa Rising: Change on the Continent, seeks to celebrate African achievement, promote community action, and bring to light important issues which are currently facing Africa today. As part of the Diaspora, it is our duty.
